  • Apply Generously: Use about one ounce (a shot glass full) of sunscreen to cover your entire body. Don’t forget often-missed areas like the ears, back of the neck, and tops of the feet.

  • Reapply Regularly: Reapply every two hours, and immediately after swimming or excessive sweating.

  • Cool Compresses: Apply cool, damp cloths to sunburned areas to reduce heat and discomfort.

  • Hydrate: Drink plenty of water to help your skin recover from dehydration caused by sun exposure.
